About Us

Welcome to KAP Krakow Chapter, the vibrant and inclusive community of Malayalees in Krakow, Poland. Our journey began in February 2020, during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the formation of the Krakow Malayalees Whatsapp group. Our primary aim was to unite all Malayalees in Krakow and provide a platform for connection and support during these challenging times.

Since its inception, the strength of our group has grown steadily. We have witnessed the remarkable power of unity and camaraderie among our fellow Malayalees. Our first major event, the Onam Celebration 2021, brought together Malayalees living in the city for the first time as a united group. This gathering ignited a realization of the immense potential that lies within a larger community.

Today, our group boasts an active participation of approximately 300+ individuals. We are a diverse community, encompassing professionals, students, families, and individuals from various walks of life. Together, we create an environment where Malayalees in Krakow can connect, share experiences, support one another, and celebrate our rich culture and heritage.

As part of the Kerala Association of Poland (KAP), we are aligned with the overarching mission of fostering unity, promoting welfare, and nurturing international relationships among Malayalees in Poland. KAP Krakow Chapter serves as a dedicated arm of the association, catering specifically to the needs and interests of our local community. We believe in the power of collaboration and the strength that comes from coming together. Through our various initiatives, we aim to provide a platform for cultural exchange, social gatherings, educational programs, and community service. By organizing events and activities throughout the year, we strive to create a sense of belonging, encourage personal growth, and enhance the overall well-being of our members.
