Arathy Sathyanarayanan

Smt. Arathy Sathyanarayanan is a Bharatnatyam artist, with tremendous potential, determined to conceive art to its extent in the most humble way, and thrives to bring joy and bliss to her aesthete. 

Born in Thiruvananthapuram Kerala, and brought up in Delhi, currently residing with her husband, Sathyanarayanan Somasundaran in Kraków Poland. Completed Master in Social Work and Bharatnatyam. For her advanced studies in Bharatnatyam, she is currently practicing under the guidance of Guru Smt Dr. Rajashree Warrier. As a keen learner, she has also acquired training in Mohiniattam under Guru Smt. Dr. Jayaprabha Menon, Kerala Mural Painting from Kum. Karthika R, Piano from Nadia Fernandes, and Carnatic music from Smt. Malavika Anil Kumar. 

Founder/Director of Kalpadruma House of Arts, whose motto is to satiate the desires of the three constituents, the performer, the performance, and the audience delivered in its signature style. 

A Doordarshan Graded artist and Sahithyakala Parishad Delhi’s Scholarship holder Won the title of Kalatilakam in Delhi Malayalee Association Kalolsavam and has performed in prominent festivals and events like Kendriya Sangeetha Nataka Academy Senegal, Opera Rara Festival 2020 Krakow, Sirpur, Bodh Mahotsav, Natyanjali Chennai, Bharath Bhavan BRICS International Conference in Delhi-2013, Governers Meet, President House, New Delhi in the presence of Former President Shri Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Embassy of India in Poland.

She has collaborated with great Gurus and artists like Smt. Geetha Padmakumar Kuchipudi, Smt. Reela Hota Odissi, Padmabhushan Smt Dr. Swapna Sundari Vilasini Natyam, and Smt. Priya Venkataraman for Bharatnatyam for various events and productions. Cine artists like Reema Kallingal’s Mamangam productions, with Kavya Madhavan and Ranjini Haridas. Performed on channels like Asianet, Flowers TV, Mazhavil Manorama, and Jaya TV.

As the Cultural Secretary of KAP -Kraków chapter, Arathy is committed to developing artistic excellence for those who are reminiscing their lost desires, promoting Indian Classical Art forms on a greater platform, and to those who seek artistic knowledge.
