Soumya Bhasi, a dedicated professional and dynamic leader, hails from Thiruvalla, Kerala, and has made Poland her second home for over a decade.


Currently excelling in her role as a Resource Manager and Lead Software Developer at EPAM Systems in Poland, she showcases not just an acumen for technology and team management but also a commitment to cultivating an inclusive and productive work environment.


With 12 years of experience in the Polish tech industry, Soumya's professional journey is marked by her effective leadership and consistent technical evolution. Her ability to manage resources efficiently while leading software development teams is recognized and appreciated by her peers and superiors alike.


Beyond her professional endeavors, Soumya's passions lie in the realms of culinary arts and music. As an avid cook, she revels in preparing a plethora of dishes and hosting her friends, blending the flavors of her native Kerala with her adopted Polish culture. Simultaneously, Soumya's love for music spans multiple genres, demonstrating her open-mindedness and diverse interests.


Soumya's sense of community service is as robust as her professional expertise. As the General Secretary of the Kerala Association of Poland, she played an instrumental role in the Association's daily activities till 2024 February. Her responsibilities range from managing social media campaigns and public relations activities to organizing committee meetings and coordinating individuals involved in the organization's various events. Through her efforts, she strives to foster a sense of togetherness among the members of the Kerala community in Poland and strengthen their cultural ties.
